Francis Magee is an Irish actor born on June 7, 1959, in Dublin, Ireland. Before beginning his acting career, he spent eight years as a fisherman and was a member of several music groups, including Namoza, which released an album and four singles, and Disco D. Raised in Ireland and on the Isle of Man, Magee portrayed Liam Tyler in the British soap opera EastEnders from 1993 to 1995. His television and feature film credits include appearances in The Calling in 2000, Layer Cake in 2004, and Sahara in 2005. He also played Ordgar, the Housecarl who led the Crowhurst contingent, in the 2009 historical reconstruction 1066 The Battle for Middle Earth.
