Natalie Dormer is an English actress born on February 11, 1982, in Reading, Berkshire. She attended Chiltern Edge Secondary School and Reading Blue Coat School, where she served as head girl and participated on the public speaking team. Dormer is recognized for her work in period films, independent projects, and blockbusters. Her prominent television roles include Anne Boleyn in the Showtime series The Tudors, Margaery Tyrell in the HBO series Game of Thrones, and Irene Adler in the CBS series Elementary. Growing up with her mother, stepfather, sister, and brother, she has noted that she experienced bullying during her school years. She is noted for her extensive career in various prominent television series and film productions.
