Stacy Ann Ferguson, professionally known as Fergie, is an American singer-songwriter, fashion designer, television host, and actress born on March 27, 1975, in Hacienda Heights, California. Her career includes eighty known acting credits. She was a member of the children's television series Kids Incorporated and the girl group Wild Orchid, which she left in 2001. Following her departure, she joined the hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas as their female vocalist, achieving worldwide chart success with a series of hits and albums. In September 2006, she released her debut solo album titled The Dutchess. The album spawned five Billboard Hot 100 top five singles, with three of those singles reaching the number one position on the chart.
