Biography
Famke Beumer Janssen is a Dutch actress and former model born on November 5, 1964. After moving to the United States in the 1980s, she modeled for Chanel in New York before attending Columbia University to study literature. Her film career includes playing Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye, Jean Grey and Phoenix in the X-Men series, and Lenore Mills in the Taken trilogy. Janssen also appeared in television series such as Nip/Tuck, Hemlock Grove, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Blacklist: Redemption. In 2011, she made her directorial debut with the film Bringing Up Bobby. Additionally, she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for Integrity by the United Nations in 2008.
