James Marsden
Biography
James Paul Marsden, born September 18, 1973, is an American actor known for his roles in film and television. He began his career with guest appearances on shows including Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Touched by an Angel, and Party of Five. Marsden achieved widespread recognition for portraying Cyclops in the X-Men film series from 2000 to 2014. He also starred in films such as The Notebook, Superman Returns, Hairspray, Enchanted, and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. He played President John F. Kennedy in The Butler and Tom Wachowski in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series. Marsden received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his work. He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and briefly studied broadcast journalism before pursuing acting in Los Angeles.
