Edi Gathegi is a Kenyan-American actor born on March 10, 1979, in Nairobi, Kenya. He has appeared in various film and television productions, including the television series House, where he played the recurring character Dr. Jeffrey Cole, and the films Gone Baby Gone, Twilight, and X-Men: First Class. Gathegi has also featured in the AMC series Into the Badlands as Baron Jacobee and in the NBC television series The Blacklist as Matias Solomon, an operative for a covert organization. He reprised the role in the 2016-2017 season crime thriller, The Blacklist: Redemption, and played a leading role in the television series Startup.
