Biography
David Packard Corenswet, born July 8, 1993, is an American actor who graduated from Juilliard in 2016. He gained early television experience with a guest role on House of Cards in 2018. Corenswet achieved wider recognition for his lead roles in Ryan Murphy's Netflix series The Politician and Hollywood, both released in 2019 and 2020 respectively. His film work includes starring roles in Look Both Ways and Pearl in 2022, as well as the HBO miniseries We Own This City. In 2024, he appeared in the film Twisters and the miniseries Lady in the Lake. He rose to prominence playing the titular superhero in James Gunn's DC Universe film Superman, released in 2025.
