Demi Gene Moore, born November 11, 1962, is an American actress and producer who rose to prominence in the 1980s. She began her career modeling and acting on the soap opera General Hospital before gaining wider recognition as part of the Brat Pack with roles in films such as Blame It on Rio, St. Elmo's Fire, and About Last Night. By 1995, she became the world's highest-paid actress.
