Jessica Lange is an American actress born on April 20, 1949, in Cloquet, Minnesota, USA. She made her professional film debut in a 1976 remake of the action-adventure classic King Kong. Lange won her first Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year for this role. She also starred in the acclaimed musical film All That Jazz in 1979. In 1982, Lange won her second Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Tootsie.
