Overview
Moonlighting is an American comedy drama television series that aired on ABC from March 3, 1985, to May 14, 1989. Created by Glenn Gordon Caron, the program ran for a total of 67 episodes. The series stars Cybill Shepherd as a former model and Bruce Willis as a detective. After being duped and going bankrupt, the model is convinced by the detective to become a partner in his agency. Together, they manage the private detective agency and solve various cases while getting comfortable with each other. The cast also features Allyce Beasley as a quirky receptionist and Curtis Armstrong as a temporary worker. The show is recognized as a classic of 1980s television and is credited with launching the career of Bruce Willis.
