Dave Willock
Biography
Dave Willock was an American character actor born on August 13, 1909, in Chicago, Illinois, and he died on November 12, 1990, at the age of 81. His professional career began in vaudeville in 1931, where he teamed with his boyhood friend Jack Carson in a comedy song and dance routine. During the mid-1930s, Willock worked as a reporter and editor for a Milwaukee newspaper. He later teamed with Carson again, writing for Carson's radio show and playing the part of Carson's nephew Tugwell on The Jack Carson Show from 1943 to 1949. Willock made his first on-screen appearance in the film Good Girls Go to Paris in 1939, playing an uncredited bit part. Throughout his career, he appeared in numerous films and television series.
