Telephone Time is an American anthology drama series that aired on CBS in 1956 and on ABC from 1957 to 1958. The series features plays by John Nesbitt who hosted the first season, with Frank C. Baxter hosting the 1957 and 1958 seasons. The program was directed by Arthur Hiller. The series drew inspiration from various literary works, including short stories by John Nesbitt and other authors. Beginning in September 1957, works from other authors were presented as well until the series ended in April 1958. The series included performances by many major actors of the 1950s. Telephone Time is an anthology drama series that presented a collection of stories adapted for the screen. The series was hosted by John Nesbitt in the first season and by Frank Baxter in the later seasons.
