Biography
Dana Welles Delany, born March 13, 1956, is an American actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. She gained recognition for her role as Colleen McMurphy on the ABC series China Beach, which aired from 1988 to 1991. Delany later portrayed Katherine Mayfair on Desperate Housewives from 2007 to 2010 and played Dr. Megan Hunt on Body of Proof from 2011 onward. She also provided the voice of Lois Lane in the DC Animated Universe and The Batman television series. A graduate of Wesleyan University, Delany began her acting career in New York after moving there in the late 1970s. She has expressed a preference for playing complex characters.
