Mayans M.C. 2018

Overview

Mayans M.C. is a television series centered on the life of Ezekiel EZ Reyes. The narrative is set following the death of Jax Teller. As the story begins, Reyes is recently released from prison and begins working as a prospect for the Mayans M.C. charter located along the border of California and Mexico. The series explores his efforts to establish a new identity in a town where he previously held the status of a golden boy with the American Dream within his reach. While the title of the series shares a name with the ancient Maya civilization, which was a Mesoamerican society known for its development of writing, mathematics, and astronomical systems, the provided sources focus exclusively on the historical and cultural legacy of these indigenous people of Mexico and Central America. The show itself focuses on the fictional journey of Reyes as he navigates his new role within the motorcycle club environment in the aftermath of established events.
