Love of Life is an American soap opera that aired on the CBS television network for nearly three decades. The series premiered on September 24, 1951, and continued its daily broadcast schedule until its final episode on February 1, 1980. The program was created by writer and producer Roy Winsor, who had earlier introduced the serial Search for Tomorrow only three weeks before Love of Life debuted. Winsor later expanded his body of work with the creation of The Secret Storm, which premiered approximately two and a half years after Love of Life began.
