As I have been pointing out for the last several days, the internals of this market continue to deteriorate. When that happens, the higher probability is for price to correct, which it appears to be doing. The internals can always increase to support price, but that typically occurs around a news event that changes the perception of value. The Indices reached short-term support, but the internals continued to weaken today. If there are lower prices tomorrow, watch for internal divergences that will suggest a rotation back up. We are in earnings season and those results can certainly change value determination
