On January 14, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce and award the cadre decision chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen – Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to mobilize and assign Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan – Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers’ Association to join the Party Executive Committee, the District Party Committee Standing Committee, and hold the position of District Secretary. District 3 Party Committee, term 2020 – 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan was born in 1981, is from Cu Chi district (HCMC), has a Master’s degree in Politics, a Bachelor of Economics, and a Bachelor of Agriculture in rural development and agricultural extension. She is currently a delegate of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council term XI, term 2021 – 2026.
From November 2019 – March 2020, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan held the position of Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers’ Association, Delegate of the People’s Council of District 8 and the city. From June 2020 to June 2021, Ms. Xuan is a Member of the Party Committee, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union, Party Secretary, Party Cell Secretary, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers’ Association, District People’s Council Representative. 8 and city.
From June 2021 – December 2023, Ms. Xuan was a Member of the Party Committee, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union, Secretary of the Party Union, Party Cell Secretary, and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers’ Association. Also at the ceremony, City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen handed over the decision to appoint Secretary of Phu Nhuan District Party Committee. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to mobilize, assign and appoint Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong – Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to join the Party Executive Committee and the District Party Committee Standing Committee, holding the position Secretary of Phu Nhuan District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong, born in 1984, hometown of Quang Nam province, holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, Bachelor of Biology, Bachelor of Politics, Advanced level of political theory.
