64 teams compete in the Tournament Vietnamese Youth and Student Football 2024
The 2nd Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament – 2024 is a tournament assigned by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Student Association to Thanh Nien Newspaper in coordination with VFF to organize annually for about time from celebrating the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students – January 9 to celebrating the Establishment Day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26 and Vietnam Sports Day on March 27. This tournament has officially been included in the annual national competition system of VFF and the Vietnam Student Sports Tournament.

The Second Vietnamese Youth Football Tournament – 2024 tattract 64 Universities, colleges, and institutes across the country register to participate, increase one and a half times the first prize. This is a number that exceeds the expectations of Thanh Nien Newspaper and VFF.
In the qualifying round, 64 teams will be divided into 6 regions to compete from January 6 to March 9, 2024, including: Hanoi (competing from February 26 to March 7 at Thuy Loi University stadium), Duyen Central Coast (February 28 to March 7 at Hue City Center for Culture, Sports and Sports Stadium), South Central and Central Highlands (March 1 to March 7 at Nha Trang University Stadium), Southeast (January 12 to January 18 at Bau Thanh Stadium, Ba Ria – Vung Tau), Southwest (March 3 to March 9 at Can Tho Stadium) and Ho Chi Minh City (January 6 to January 25 at the yard of Ton Duc Thang University).
At the end of the qualifying round, the 11 teams with the best performance in the regions will join the home team Ton Duc Thang University to compete in the final round taking place from March 16 to 31.

Speaking at the ceremony to announce and draw the qualifying round of the 2nd Vietnam Youth Football Tournament – 2024 on December 26, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau – Deputy General Secretary of VFF said:
“After being held very successfully for the first time, the Vietnamese Student Youth Football Tournament jointly organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper and VFF has created a good impression and is highly anticipated by the audience.
Compared to the first tournament in 2023, this year the number of participating teams has increased by 22 teams, 1 more region and there will be a maximum of 90 matches, promising to provide fans with exciting and exciting competitions. , characterized by students in all regions of the country.

The total prize of the tournament is up to 700 million VND. The champion receives 300 million VND, the second place receives 150 million VND, and the two third-place teams each receive 70 million VND. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded other prizes such as a style prize of 40 million VND; Beautiful cheer prize 40 million VND, impressive cheer prize 30 million VND and other individual prizes.
