V.League 2023/2024 has passed 7 rounds, but up to 5 coaches have had to leave their hot seats. That is the case of coach Bandovic (Hanoi FC), Vu Tien Thanh (HCMC Club), Tran Tien Dai (CAHN Club), Vo Dinh Tan (Khanh Hoa) and Thach Bao Khanh (Viettel The Cong).
Among those chosen to replace, coach Gong Oh-kyun of CAHN Club received the most attention. Because the Korean military leader once led U23 Vietnam and left his mark with his beautiful attacking style of play.

With the poor performance of CAHN Club, coach Gong Oh-kyun is facing the risk of being fired. According to some sources, the former captain of U23 Vietnam and his colleagues were temporarily suspended from directing in round 8 of V.League 2023/2024.
Currently, Coach Polking is said to be the strongest candidate for the hot seat at CAHN Club, in case the police team bid farewell to Coach Gong Oh-kyun. It is worth mentioning that before CAHN Club signed a contract with coach Gong Oh-kyun, they also pursued coach Polking.
