Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien was born in 1998, won the title of 1st runner-up at Miss Southern 2017 and was in the Top 5 of Miss Vietnam 2018. She once represented Vietnam at Miss International 2018 in Japan.
In 2021, Thuy Tien will represent Vietnam at the Miss Grand International competition in Thailand. On December 4, 2021, she surpassed 58 contestants from countries around the world to be crowned the top winner of the competition. She also made history as the first Vietnamese beauty to win this title.
Thuy Tien studied at the Faculty of French Literature – University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University. Since 2019, Thuy Tien has studied at the Faculty of Tourism – Bachelor of International Hotel and Restaurant Management (cooperative program with Vatel International Hotel and Tourism School, France) at Hoa Sen University.
