Lethal Weapon is an American buddy cop action comedy-drama television series developed by Matt Miller. Based on the film franchise created by Shane Black, the series serves as a reboot of the original property. The narrative follows a slightly unhinged former Navy SEAL named Martin Riggs who moves to California to begin a new career as a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.
