Martial Law is an American crime action comedy television series that aired on CBS. The series was created by Carlton Cuse and produced by several companies including Carlton Cuse Productions, Ruddy Morgan Productions, 20th Century Fox Television and CBS Productions. The title character, Sammo Law, is a Shanghai cop who is a master of martial arts and fights crime in the Los Angeles Police Department. Sammo Law comes to the U.S. in search of a former friend and protegée and gets drafted as part of the LAPD. The series features Sammo Hung, Kelly Hu, Arsenio Hall, and Tom Wright. Martial Law is currently available to stream via subscription, rental, or purchase in the US. The series aired from September 26, 1998, to May 13, 2000.
