Biography
Yuko Tanaka is a Japanese actress born on April 29, 1955, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. She is a graduate of Meiji University and has maintained a long career in both film and television. Throughout her professional tenure, she has received several acting awards, including the Kinuyo Tanaka Award at the 67th Mainichi Film Awards in 2013 and the Best Actress award at the 30th Hochi Film Awards in 2005 for her role in The Milkwoman. Her film and television credits include appearances in Hana-chan no Misoshiru in 2014, the 2008 NHK production Boshi, and the 2006 Fuji TV project Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me, and Sometimes Dad.
