Tobias Vincent Maguire, known professionally as Tobey Maguire, is an American actor and film producer born on June 27, 1975. He gained international recognition for his portrayal of Spider-Man in Sam Raimi's 2002 film, reprising the role in two sequels and again in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. Early in his career, he took on supporting roles before transitioning to leading parts in films such as Seabiscuit, The Good German, and The Great Gatsby. His performance as a PTSD-stricken soldier in Brothers earned him critical acclaim and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.
