Ryan Thomas Gosling is a Canadian actor born on November 12, 1980, in London, Ontario. The son of Donna and Thomas Ray Gosling, he is the second of two children. Throughout his career, he has worked in both independent films and major studio features. His professional accolades include a Golden Globe Award, along with nominations for three Academy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two British Academy Film Awards.
