Ana Celia de Armas Caso is a Cuban-born actress who holds Cuban, Spanish, and American citizenship. Born on April 30, 1988, in Santa Cruz del Norte, Cuba, she began her formal acting education at the National Theatre School of Havana at age 14, graduating four years later. Her professional career launched in her home country at age 16. Throughout her career, she has gained international recognition and has been nominated for various industry accolades, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and other professional honors.
