Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor best known for portraying Steve Rogers / Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in films from Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) to Avengers: Endgame (2019). He also played the Human Torch in Fantastic Four and its sequel. Evans began his career with television roles and later appeared in teen films such as Not Another Teen Movie (2001).
