Biography

Peter Greene was an American character actor born on October 8, 1965. He was generally known for his portrayals of villains throughout his career. Greene did not begin pursuing acting until his mid-twenties, eventually landing several roles in television and cinema during the early 1990s. He achieved a career breakthrough between 1994 and 1995 with appearances in Pulp Fiction, The Mask, Clean, Shaven, and The Usual Suspects. In The Mask, he played the main antagonist Dorian Tyrell, while in Pulp Fiction, he portrayed a sadistic security guard named Zed. Greene frequently played villainous roles in other projects, including Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, Training Day, and the martial arts crime film Fist of the Warrior. He died on December 12, 2025.
