Biography
Michael Tao Dai Yu is a Hong Kong television actor who began his career in the 1980s by affiliating with TVB. During his early tenure at the network, he earned the nickname Housewife Killer due to his significant popularity among the demographic of housewives, which helped establish his status as a first-tier television actor. In 1997, following contract disputes with TVB, Tao moved to the rival network ATV. His performance in the ATV series Flaming Brothers was considered a landmark achievement, as the show outperformed its TVB competition. In addition to his work in Hong Kong, Tao has filmed projects in China and Singapore. He returned to TVB in 2004 to continue his acting career.
