Biography
Tony Leung Chiu-wai is a Hong Kong actor and singer born on 27 June 1962. Recognized as one of Asia's most successful actors, he began his career in television after completing training courses at TVB in 1982. He was known as a Small Tiger among the Five Tiger Generals of TVB and gained early fame for his comedy style in television shows. His career has spanned over four decades, encompassing television dramas, art-house films, and blockbuster hits. Leung has received significant critical acclaim, including the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his performance in In the Mood for Love. He also holds records for the most Best Actor wins at the Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Film Awards.
