Gary Chan Ga-Fai is a Hong Kong actor born in 1963. He graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute. Before pursuing a career in acting, he worked as a project supervisor in the Government Engineering Development Department. He was recruited by TVB in September 1986 and initially hosted the children's program 430 Space Shuttle. Chan Ga-Fai has also worked for ATV in Hong Kong and in Malaysia, China, and Taiwan. He returned to TVB in 2014. As an actor, he is known for his work in various productions, with a total of 43 credits to his name.
