Biography
Michael Joseph Anderson, Jr. is an English actor born on August 6, 1943, in Hillingdon, Middlesex. He was born into a theatrical family, as his grandparents and great-great-aunt were acclaimed actors, and his father is the film director Michael Anderson, Sr. Anderson trained in drama and ballet at the Arts Educational School. Throughout his career between 1956 and 1998, he appeared in seventy-two films. His notable film credits include The Sundowners in 1960, The Sons of Katie Elder in 1965, and Major Dundee in 1965. In the 1976 film Logan's Run, he portrayed the character Doc, acting alongside Michael York, Jenny Agutter, Richard Jordan, and Farrah Fawcett.
