Walter Clarence Taylor Jr., known as Dub Taylor, was an American character actor born on February 26, 1907, in Richmond, Virginia, and he died on October 3, 1994, at the age of 87. He was the father of actor Buck Taylor. Dub Taylor worked extensively in films and on television from the 1940s into the 1990s, appearing often in Westerns as well as comedies. He secured an early acting part because the role required someone who could play the xylophone, a talent he later demonstrated on several television shows during the 1950s and early 1960s. Among his credited works and appearances, he is known for projects including The Twilight Zone, Back to the Future Part III, and I Love Lucy.
