Biography
Dub Taylor was an American character actor. He was born Walter Clarence Taylor Jr. on February 26, 1907, in Richmond, Virginia. Taylor worked extensively in films and on television from the 1940s into the 1990s, often in Westerns and comedies. He was the father of actor Buck Taylor. Buck Taylor played the character Newly O'Brien on the television series Gunsmoke.
