Kurt Vogel Russell is an American actor born on March 17, 1951, in Springfield, Massachusetts. Raised in Thousand Oaks, California, he is the son of dancer Louise Julia Russell and actor Bing Russell. He is of English, German, Scottish, and Irish descent. Throughout his career, he has appeared in 148 known credits. Beyond his professional work, he has been in a relationship with Goldie Hawn since 1983. Russell began his career as a child actor before transitioning into a wide variety of adult roles across multiple genres, including action adventures, science fiction, westerns, romance, comedy, and family dramas.
