Vin Diesel, born Mark Sinclair on July 18, 1967, in Alameda County, California, is an American actor, filmmaker, and producer. Known professionally by his stage name, he is recognized as one of the world's highest-grossing actors. Diesel attended Hunter College in New York City, where his studies in creative writing inspired him to pursue screenwriting. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the film industry, working as an actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He has a fraternal twin brother named Paul Vincent.
