Biography

Kelly Macdonald is a Scottish actress born on 23 February 1976. Throughout her career in film and television, she has earned a BAFTA Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Macdonald made her film debut in the 1996 Danny Boyle film Trainspotting. She later received a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in the Coen brothers film No Country for Old Men. Her filmography includes roles in Elizabeth, Gosford Park, Intermission, Nanny McPhee, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Anna Karenina, T2 Trainspotting, and Operation Mincemeat.
