Michael John Kricfalusi, also known professionally as John K. and John K. Raymo, is a Canadian animator, voice actor, illustrator, and blogger born on September 9, 1955, in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada. He is the creator of the Nickelodeon cartoon series The Ren and Stimpy Show and the founder of the animation company Spümcø. After being fired from The Ren and Stimpy Show by Nickelodeon in 1992, he directed and produced animated television commercials and music videos for entertainers including the singer Bjork and the comedy rock duo Tenacious D. In the late 1990s, he created Internet-exclusive cartoons titled The Goddamn George Liquor Program and Weekend Pussy Hunt, and later returned to television with The Ripping Friends and the adult animation spin-off Re.
