Overview

Pet Star is a television series that aired on Animal Planet and was hosted by Mario Lopez. The program features a competition where pet owners and their trained animals perform various tricks for a panel of three celebrity judges. These judges evaluate the performances on a scale of one to 10. Following the presentations, the three pets that receive the highest scores are designated as finalists. The studio audience then votes to determine which of those finalists is named the Pet Star of the episode. The winner of each regular episode receives a prize of 2,500 dollars.
