Jacqueline Danell Obradors is an American actress born in the San Fernando Valley, California on October 6, 1966. Her parents are Argentine immigrants Angie, a church worker, and Albert Obradors, who owned an office cleaning business. Before starting her acting career, she worked as a cashier at Hughes Market in Canoga Park, California. She is best known for her supporting roles as Angelica in the film Six Days Seven Nights and in A Man Apart, as well as playing Carmen in the 2001 film Tortilla Soup. On television, she played Detective Rita Ortiz on the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, she voiced the character Audrey in Disney's animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire in 2001 and its 2004 sequel.
