Harrison Ford
Biography
Harrison Ford is an American actor born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. He is widely regarded as a cinematic cultural icon whose career has spanned more than 50 years. Ford began his professional acting journey after signing a contract with Columbia Pictures in 1964. He is perhaps best known for portraying charismatic rogues in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones film series. His notable filmography also includes Blade Runner, Witness, The Fugitive, and Air Force One. Throughout his career, Ford has received nominations for an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, an Emmy Award, five Golden Globe Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. He is the son of radio actress Dorothy Nidelman and actor Christopher Ford.
