Biography
Garcelle Beauvais, born November 26, 1966, is a Haitian-American actress and former fashion model. She gained prominence for her role as Francesca "Fancy" Monroe on The WB sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show, which aired from 1996 to 2001. She also portrayed Valerie Heywood on the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue. Born in Haiti, Beauvais immigrated to the United States at age seven. She has appeared in various television shows and films, demonstrating both dramatic and comedic range. From 2001 to 2011, she was known as Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon. Her work has been recognized by outlets such as People Magazine, which named her one of the 50 Most Beautiful.
