F. Murray Abraham, born Murray Abraham on October 24, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American actor known for work on stage and screen. He achieved widespread recognition for his portrayal of Antonio Salieri in the 1984 drama film Amadeus, for which he received the Academy Award for Best Actor.
