Edward Norton
Biography
Edward Harrison Norton, born August 18, 1969, is an American actor and filmmaker. He gained early recognition for his debut in Primal Fear (1996), which earned him a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and an Academy Award nomination. His performance as a reformed neo-Nazi in American History X (1998) led to an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Norton also starred in Fight Club (1999), a film that later developed a strong cult following. He has received multiple accolades throughout his career, including a Golden Globe Award, two Critics' Choice Awards, and two Satellite Awards, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards and two BAFTA Awards. In 2003, he established the production company Class 5 Films.
