Biography
Elliot Page is a Canadian actor, producer, and activist born on February 21, 1987, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born to Martha Philpotts and Dennis Page, he pursued an interest in acting from an early age and attended the Neptune Theater School. Page is recognized for his work in both Canadian and American film and television, as well as his advocacy for LGBTQ rights and his efforts against discrimination. He is identified as non-binary and has been credited professionally under the names Elliot Philpotts-Page and formerly Ellen Page. With a career spanning several decades, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.

Page began his professional acting career in the late 1990s, gaining early recognition for his role in the television series Pit Pony, which aired from 1997 to 2000 and earned him a Young Artist Award. He continued to build his resume with recurring roles in the series Trailer Park Boys in 2002 and ReGenesis in 2004. His transition into film gained momentum with his performance in the 2005 movie Hard Candy, for which he received the Austin Film Critics Association's Award for Best Actress. He also received critical praise for his work in the 2007 film The Tracey Fragments.
