Evan Thomas Peters is an American actor born on January 20, 1987, in St. Louis, Missouri. Known for his television and film work, he has sixty-four known acting credits. He is best known for his multiple roles on the FX anthology series American Horror Story, playing Stan Bowes in the first season of the FX ballroom drama series Pose, and portraying Peter Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, in the X-Men film series between 2014 and 2019 and the Marvel Cinematic Universe series WandaVision. In 2021, Peters won a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance in Mare of Easttown. That same year, he returned to American Horror Story to play writer and entertainer Austin Sommers in Red Tide, the first part of the tenth season. Most recently, he portrayed serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the Netflix miniseries created by Ryan Murphy.
