Dominique Thorne is an American actress born on November 5, 1997, in Brooklyn, New York, to Trinidadian and Guyanese immigrants Nerissa and Gavin Thorne. She began her film career with appearances in If Beale Street Could Talk in 2018 and Judas and the Black Messiah in 2021. In 2022, she began playing the role of Riri Williams, also known as Ironheart, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe feature film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She subsequently starred in the 2024 film Freaky Tales, which was directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. She also reprises her role as Riri Williams and Ironheart in the 2025 Disney+ miniseries Ironheart.
