José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal, born April 2, 1975, in Santiago, Chile, is a Chilean and American actor. Known professionally as Pedro Pascal, he has gained recognition for his portrayals of parental figures and antiheroic characters on both stage and screen. Throughout his career, he has starred in various television series and blockbuster films. His professional achievements include an Actor Award, as well as nominations for a Golden Globe Award and four Primetime Emmy Awards. In 2023, Time magazine recognized him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. He is also credited under the names Alexander Pascal and Pedro Balmaceda.
