José Tenoch Huerta Mejía (Spanish pronunciation [teˈnotʃˈweɾta]; born January 29 1981) is a Mexican actor of Hispanic/Latin American heritage. He was born in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, Mexico, and is male. Huerta Mejía has appeared in a number of feature films, short films, and television productions across Latin America and Spain, including a credited role in the series Narcos: Mexico under the name Tenoch Huerta. He is featured in Mónica Maristain’s 30 Actors Made in Mexico book. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe he portrays Namor, beginning with the 2022 film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, where he is credited as Tenoch Huerta Mejía.
