Dimitri Diatchenko was an actor and musician born in San Francisco, California on April 11, 1968. A native of San Francisco, he attended Newton North High School in Newton, Massachusetts. He later attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida as a scholarship music student majoring in classical guitar, before matriculating to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida for a masters program continuing his acting and music studies. His first acting experience was as the lead in the play Foxfire by Hume Cronin, playing the country music star Dillard Nations, and he continued developing his acting skills in stage and camera projects in Florida from 1990 to 1996. Known for his roles playing Russians in films, television series, and PC games due to his Russian accent, Diatchenko died on April 23, 2020 at the age of 52.
