Victoria Dawn Addams was a British actress born in Felixstowe, Suffolk, England on September 21, 1930, and she died on May 7, 1985. She was the daughter of Ethel Mary and Captain James Ramage Addams of the Royal Air Force. After her mother died when she was young, she spent her early life in Calcutta, India. Her face and physique attracted talent agents, and in December 1950 she signed a seven-year contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios. Her film career began with a role in Night into Morning in 1951. She was particularly known for work in Hollywood motion pictures of the 1950s and on British television in the 1960s and 1970s. She also became a princess from 1954 until 1971.
